Inspection and maintenance of care beds
As a manufacturer of care beds, FMB care is obligated to specify times for repairs and overhauling, inspection periods and also the scope of inspections for the maintenance of care beds manufactured by its company. This is all to be done in accordance with the standard DIN EN 62353 regarding medical electrical equipment and in line with Section 4 of the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance.
All inspections, maintenance work and repairs are absolutely necessary in order to ensure the sustained safe and proper operating of care beds. Such precautions include the regular checking of the current technical state of the care bed and, where necessary, appropriate repairs are to be undertaken immediately. Inspection and maintenance always include the electrical safety test (in accordance with DGUV V3 – the German Social Accident Insurance, Provision 3).
FMB care recommends that these measures be carried out regularly every 12 months and, as a competent and reliable partner, is pleased to support its customers in all aspects of these safety checks. You are very welcome to arrange an appointment for this here.
